Translators

Katie MacGregor was born in North Uist and grew up on the family croft there. After education in Uist, Inverness and Glasgow, she did primary school teaching in the Highlands before spending some years on farms and estates where her husband worked and later on his family croft in Sutherland. During this time, she wrote articles and stories, mainly in Gaelic, for magazines and radio.

Now living in Inverness, she has worked in Gaelic offices and since retirement has maintained her Gaelic interests, doing translations and proof-reading.
